Exclusive Blade extravaganza at the MCN show

The Fireblade has been a sports bike colossus for 20 years and Honda is celebrating in style at the Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show on February 2nd -5th. There will be pristine examples from every year of Fireblade production on display, from the original 1992 rulebreaker, through the glorious fox-eye years to the latest 2012 Blade with its ultra-sophisticated suspension.

The Blades will be joined by all Honda’s 2012 range, so you get a good look at one of the most innovative bikes of the year – the NC700X. Its low-revving 700cc parallel twin engine is claimed to produce masses of easily-accessible torque, while returning 74mpg. Plus, it has inbuilt storage for a full-face helmet. Your ears will be in for a treat too. Honda will be bringing along a legendary six-cylinder 250cc GP bike from the sixties, which will be started up every day so London show-goers can experience one of the most evocative sounds in racing history!
