MCN sister publication Classic Bike showed all of the finalists in the Classic Bike of the Year competition. Visitors were able to see them in the flesh and vote for their favourites there and then at the show.

Plus, earplugs were needed as George Beale's stunning officially-endorsed replica of the legendary Honda RC174 six-cyclinder was fired up on the Friday - indoors!

Other classics on show included a 1972 MV 500-3, a 1967 Benelli 350-4, a 1949 Velocette DOHC and George Brough's own Brough Superior, 'Old Bill', recently sold at auction for a world record £291,200.
