Nick Sanders will be appearing at the Carole Nash London Motorcycle Show to present his new ‘Motorcycle Cinema’. At the invitation of the organisers Nick will present the only known ‘Motorcycle Cinema’ in existence.
“It’s purely experimental,” said Nick, “but I’ve had this idea for years and I want it to be amazing”.
The cinema itself will comprise a small 15ft x 30ft tent with seating for 30 to 40 people and a short and free performance of around eleven minutes.
“I’ve edit a special movie showing a compilation of some of the best bits of my last 15 years of filming. I assure you it’s not just about me,” he said laughing, “in fact some of the best bits are about my own heroes whom I respect greatly”.
Included in a performance entitled, ‘In the Land of Men’ you will see one of the last interviews with Mr Robert Dunlop at the Skerries, the amazing aviation fuelled ‘rocket bike’ ridden by Frenchman Eric Teboul and more. “Of course they’ll be a few clips from my R1 crossing of the Bolivian Andes and great inspiration for anyone thinking of starting off on their own journey,” he said, “anything that helps riders find their confidence to do their ‘own thing’ is what this is all about.”
“We have fantastic sounds and great effects, you’ll think you are at the top of the Andes yourself,” he said, “and what with pretty usherettes serving free samples of popcorn this should be a hoot”.
Roll-up, Roll-up, come and see all the fun of Nick’s Cinema and thanks to my sponsors and the organisers, the best bit about it is it’s FREE!
See you there..!
