CELEBRATING ROSSI

In tribute to the legendary Valentino Rossi and his incredible career in MotoGP there will be a display of SIX of his genuine bikes on display and exclusive interviews with the people who helped shape his success. The machines include Rossi’s four ground-breaking Yamaha MotoGP world championship winning bikes from 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009, plus his two Aprilia’s from 1997 and 1999. MCN 'KING OF THE ROADS'

CLASSIC AUCTION

Silverstone Auctions will be holding a live auction of classic and contemporary motorcycles at the show on the afternoon of Saturday 12th Feb. With a wide ranging selection of over 100 bikes from pre-war to modern machinery there’ll be something for every pocket. The star lot of the auction is a 1936 Brough Superior SS80 expected to reach over £50K. Visitors to the show Friday will be treated to an explosion of sound as we fire-up everything from stock and modified road bikes to full-on race machinery. Peter Hickman will be starting his FHO Racing BMW M1000R race bike PLUS a Honda RC213V-S road bike, a machine that’s rarely even seen in the flesh let alone heard running. There’s a special treat for Barry Sheene fans as Suzuki GB will be starting his world championship winning 1976 XR14. Bring your earplugs, you’ll be needing them!
