Guy Martin and Colin Edwards bikes up for auction    

Silverstone Auctions will be bringing over 150 machines to auction live at the London show including two stunning race bikes previously ridden by American Colin Edwards and road racing icon Guy Martin.

The Edwards machine is his Kawsaki FTR MGP13 MotoGP bike ridden by the Texas Tornado in the 2013 season, his final year in MotoGP. The MGP13 is completely hand-built and originally tuned by the French based tuning company Akira with an available power of 245+bhp and a weight of 157kg. Auction estimate is £35000-£40000

The Guy Martin Tyco Suzuki British Superbike was developed and built for PJ Jacobson's first Superbike season in 2013 and used by Martin in the Isle of Man TT and all his other road events that year (Ulster Grand Prix, North West etc). Subsequently obtained by Team Traction Control (under the ownership of the late Keith Flint - front man of the band the Prodigy) and campaigned at the Ulster GP and at the teams first TT appearance in 2014 by Steve Mercer. Full specification and highly maintained thoroughbred race bike which cost in excess of £80k to build and features factory-developed technology rarely available at club level. Auction estimate of £20000-£25000.
